Freelance

There are only a few spaces left for freelance lessons. These are on Fridays during daytime in the winter. After 6pm I have a few spaces during the week subject to your having lighting in the winter.
Freelance lessons differ from riding school lessons in that they work on both the rider and the horse. Most people come to me because they have a problem or are not progressing with their horse as they feel they should. Therefore I will be working with “the whole picture” rather than just the rider. Much more emphasis is placed on how the horse feels and thinks - thereby gaining his enthusiasm and willingness to ‘join in’.

I teach any level/type of rider/horse. The first lesson will involve some groundwork whilst I assess the horse and his movement. Groundwork is an integral part of classical riding and all high level horses are worked from the ground before being ridden.

No quick fixes are offered, nor are false promises of achievement. All I hope to share is the magic that horses can bring to our lives.
